Yorkshire Dales is spread along a vast landscape with as much open country air as you can stand. With Dales such as Swaledale, Arkengarthdale, Nidderdale and Ribblesdale, just to name a few, there is plenty to see within this rich heritage of history. Visit Swaledale where you can check out the famously robust breed of sheep. Stop in at Richmond, where the locals will be happy to show you around and share its secrets with you. Or, stand in awe at the Castle, which dominates the skyline.

Camping is a pleasure in the Yorkshire Dales, with many sites to choose from. One to consider would be the Studfold Farm, offering facilities for both caravans and tents, this property offers plenty of space for your family and friends. For the past forty years, the Walker family has welcomed their guests to experience their working farm hospitality. Actively rearing both cattle and sheep, curious onlookers can witness the art of lambing. There is also a small shop nearby, which caters for your basic daily needs, and ideal when camping in the yorkshire dales.

Another popular camping facility is Wood Nook. This is a well seasoned facility that has been run by the Thompson family for the last forty years. Here you can choose to let a holiday home, bring your own tourer or make it simple with your own personal tent. Campers will have access to WI FI, toilets, showers, laundry area, and yes, electricity. If you would prefer to enjoy the beauty of the Dales, but stay indoors, a holiday cottage is available to you.

With all that beautiful countryside, mixed with five star lodging, you would think, that would be enough, not so fast! There are quite a few attractions around the Yorkshire Dales to keep you busy for days on end. One favorite spot is the Black Sheep Brewery plc, where 5th generation of Masham's, well known as "the famous brewing family", continue to churn out millions of pints of beer each year. Visitors are regularly escorted on tour throughout the brewery, where they too can experience what it takes to prepare good English bitter.
