Set in 24 acres of privately owned hill land sloping down to the river with its tumbling waters enjoying an abundance of wildlife with buzzards and herons. Beautiful walks abound on nearby Bannisdale, Potter Fell and Haweswater, famous for the drowned village of Mardale. Market town of Kendal with shops, restaurants and indoor leisure centre and theatre is approx. 5 miles, Lake Windermere is approximately 20 minutes drive. Trout fishing available on ½ a mile of private river, 15th March to 31st Oct, plus small fishing lake. Shop 5 miles, pub 2 miles.
