Set in the grounds of a house of Jacobean origins, this delightful, detached, former small barn with whitewashed stone walls and beams offers a relaxing get away holiday in an area of fascinating historical interest.

The nearby town of Bampton is one of the oldest in the country with pre-Roman beginings and a medieval castle destroyed by Oliver Cromwell’s forces in the Civil War and a thriving team of morris dancers whos annual programme commences on the spring bank holiday.

May garlands made by the children of the village is a custom stretching back centuries and these are displayed and judged also on this day. Today, Aston is renowned for local pottery.

Shops 150 yards, pub 100 yards, restaurant 2 miles.
