You can amble into Lyme Regis with its inns, shops and restaurants, soak up the atmosphere on the front or indulge in some fishing, boating and fossil hunting. Enjoy some scenic walking along this dramatic coast stretching from Weymouth to Exmouth, or visit many of the quaint seaside resorts to be found at Sidmouth, Seaton, Beer, Charmouth and Westbay. There are several historic houses to visit, such as Forde Abbey and Gardens, and many family attractions within easy driving, Crealy Adventure Park, Pecorama, Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth and Abbotsbury Swannery and Tropical Gardens to name a few.
