Nestling in the heart of the Lake District National Park, this attractive holiday cottage enjoys a peaceful setting with open views across farmland towards the fells. As one of a pair, it has its own well kept garden overlooking the pretty little church of Far Sawrey (Beatrix Potter Land; the author’s house is just 1 mile). The cottage gives easy access to Windermere and Esthwaite, Hawkshead and Coniston Water. Also close by are Ambleside, Grasmere, Bowness-on-Windermere and many historic houses and gardens. There are excellent walks from the doorstep. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
