This pretty, detached, 17th-century renovated cottage lies in the delightful village of Long Compton which is a long village with a 13th-century parish church. About 1 mile to the south are the mysterious Rollright stones, a neolithic monument said to be haunted. The holiday cottage has an attractive woodland garden bordered by a small stream and is in an excellent location to explore the Cotswolds, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stratford-upon-Avon and Oxford. The village is well served by a shop and an excellent and well renowned pub offering fine cuisine.
