This semi-detached holiday cottage on the road to Sedbergh is 300m from the entrance to the castle path, which is surrounded by scenic walks with views to the Lakeland Hills. Delightful tea rooms, museums, the Brewery Arts Centre, leisure centres, climbing wall, boutiques and specialist shops, a golf course and quiet riverside walks are all nearby. The town hosts beer, mountain and music festivals and cultural events throughout the year and many historic houses and gardens are just a short drive away. With Windermere, Bowness and the Lakes (9 miles) to the west, and Sedbergh (10 miles) to the east in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this is a superb touring base.
