As such it makes for a convenient home from which to tour the Dales and North York Moors. There is also the added benefit of having both York, with its vast array of historical sites and shops to visit, and the refined Spa town of Harrogate within easy driving distance. Leeds is also easily accessed and boasts its very own Harvey Nichols. Shops ¼ mile, pub 200 yards, restaurant 2 miles.
