This holiday cottage is set in a wonderful location with views from the living room windows over a small waterfall. Gamblesby is a traditional Cumbrian village located in the northern Pennines. The Coast to Coast cycle route passes through the village as do many fabulous walks. The village is situated near the Penrith to Alston road along which a short drive brings you to Penrith where you will find a wonderful selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, or why not visit Alston, the highest market town in England. The simply stunning Lake District nearby is a must for any visitor to the area. Shop 6 miles, pub 1½ miles.
