These 18th century terraced holiday cottages are ideally situated in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Shaldon, one of the prettiest in Devon, nestling at the mouth of the River Teign where the estuary meets the sea. The properties offer very good accommodation and are decorated and furnished to a very good standard. Many walks can be taken from the door and there is a sandy beach just 100 yards away. Torquay is close by for boat trips to Brixham and the Living Coasts where penguins walk freely, or visit Paignton Zoo. The Ness Headland watches proudly over the mouth of the estuary, guarding the waters between Shaldon and the busy Victorian town of Teignmouth, offering some of the most stunning views in the west country. The river, beach and estuary will delight you, not to mention the famous Shaldon Ferry which plies the river to Teignmouth daily. Shop, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
