Set on a smallholding where ducks, geese and chickens run freely, these former farm buildings have been converted to offer excellent comfortable holiday accommodation. Both part of the original 18/19th-century farm buildings, they can be booked together to accommodate larger groups or family bookings. Each property has access to a shared patio at the front and its own enclosed courtyard at the rear. Guests can also walk on the 5 acres of grounds. The properties are set on the road which links Pulham and Bucklands Newton. Watcombe Plain lies 2 miles distant, sitting 220 metres above sea level with good views of the surrounding landscape, and on a clear day Glastonbury Mount to the north and Portland Bill to the south. Cerne Abbas - famous for its large chalk giant - as well as numerous tearooms makes for a lovely day out. Other places of interest include Bridport, Weymouth, Poole, Bournemouth and Sherborne to the north, all within a short drive, along with the many chocolate box villages dotted along the coast. Close by, the county town of Dorchester is well known for its association with Thomas Hardy.
