It has private river frontage with bathing area and rare breed animals graze in the pastures. Broughton-in-Furness (5 miles) has village shops and pubs, and the lovely Cumbrian beaches are a ½-hour drive. Historic houses, gardens, South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Coniston Water and Lake Windermere are easily accessible. Shop 1 mile, pubs 3 miles.
