Ideal touring location
At the foot of the magnificent Howgill Fells, this charming house with large enclosed garden on the outskirts of the delightful small town of Sedbergh makes an ideal holiday base for families and large parties. Just a short walk to shops, cafes and welcoming pubs serving food, with the whole of the Yorkshire Dales on the doorstep and the Lake District a mere half an hour’s drive to the west. An energetic climb to the top of Winder is rewarded with stunning views of the Dales, Lakeland Fells and across Morecambe Bay, then a leisurely stroll back along the River Rawthey will bring walkers to the pub for a pint of real ale.
