Overlooking the village green, this delightful adjoining cottage, furnished with great style and charm, is a wonderful holiday base for touring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Immaculately presented, it makes for a pleasant stay in both winter and summer alike - flowers and champagne can be arranged on request and romantic winter evenings can be spent around the open fire or balmy evenings with a glass of chilled wine in the conservatory, which opens out onto a very pretty, and secluded cottage garden. This much sought-after rural community has, on a number of occasions, won the title of Eden’s Best Kept Village. There is excellent walking and cycling in the area. Ullswater 7 miles. Shops 6 miles, pub 200 yards.
