Set in the quiet hamlet of Carlton-in-Coverdale, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this holiday cottage has been sympathetically restored and retains some original features with beams and a quaint winding staircase. Ideally located for walking direct from the door or for touring the whole of the Yorkshire Dales. Middleham, which is renowned for its race horse training, and Leyburn, a traditional market town with a wealth of individual shops, are both a short drive. Tennant’s of Leyburn is the largest auction house outside London, and is well worth a visit, alternatively the ’Forbidden Corner’ is a must for all ages, and is just a few minutes drive. Shop 4 miles, pub 3 miles.
