This property was originally built in the 1880s for a wealthy sea captain and boasts staggering panoramic views of the River Dart and estuary to the castle. The Chart Loft apartment occupies the top floor and has been wonderfully converted to offer cosy, characterful holiday accommodation. Glenadon, the larger property below The Chart Loft, forms the main part of the villa with a first floor balcony which stretches the width of the house. Most of the rooms enjoy full length French doors to take advantage of the views. Just a few minutes’ walk leads to the bustling riverside town of Dartmouth. Activities locally include golf, sailing, boat trips and hire, tennis and sea fishing. Set within an AONB, there are many NT properties within driving distance. Excellent walking and riding on Dartmoor. Paignton Zoo accessible. Plymouth 30 miles. Blackpool Sands’ sandy shores 3 miles. Shops 500 yards.
