This is excellent walking country and the mountains of the Northern Lakes are very close by. Good base for touring the northern lakes, with Keswick just 10 miles away. This is a lovely holiday location for cycling, golf, fishing, riding or touring this beautiful area with its spectacular scenery. Shop 5 miles, pub ¾ mile.
