Furnished and equipped to a good standard it makes an ideal base to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is just 5 miles from the ancient charms of the market town of Ripon with its impressive minster and quaint but renowned shops.

The magnificent ruins of Fountains Abbey and remote Brimham Rocks make good days out with an open fire to return to from some excellent walking from the door.
