With Keswick and Derwent Water a mere 2 miles, the hidden beauty of Loweswater, Crummock Water and Buttermere is a spectacular 20 minutes drive through the Whinlatter Forest Park and over the pass.
The area abounds with places to visit with historic Carlisle and Hadrian’s Wall easily accessible. Tucked away in this tranquil village with walks from the door and pubs and food available, you may not even wish to wander further afield.
