The local park is a 5 minute stroll from the cottages whilst ’School Knot’ and its beautiful tarn is a picturesque 30 minute walk away. A 15 minute downhill stroll takes you into the heart of Windermere village which boasts a good selection of shops and restaurants. A 20 minute downhill stroll into Bowness will enable you to enjoy an array of visitor attractions including steamboat trips and the opportunity to hire motorboats or rowing boats.
