Just 3 miles from the sandy beach and rock pools at Shaldon, this single-storey cottage with its own south-facing garden commands superb views across the Teign estuary to the sea. Set close to the owner’s home it is comfortably furnished and has a garden playhouse with table tennis and games for rainy days. An ideal base for touring this delightful part of Devon, the cottage is close to the sandy cove at Ness (2 miles). Teignmouth’s antique shops, the racecourse at Newton Abbott (1½ miles), the Shaldon Wild Life Trust and Torquay (9 miles). Shop and pub serving food ¾ mile.
