Nearby attractions include Aquarium of the Lakes, steamer trips on Windermere to Bowness and Ambleside, South Lakes Wild Animal Park, Beatrix Potter farmhouse and historic buildings such as Holker Hall and Cartmel Priory. With Hawkshead just 5 miles away, the choices for a day out are endless. The nearby attractions of Grizedale include lovely walks, cafe and cycling. Shops 5 miles, pub 2 miles, restaurant 3 miles.
