The town of Tavistock just 10 minutes, where there is a pannier and farmers market. Head across the moorland towards Okehampton, or visit the natural waterfalls at Lydford Gorge, before heading to the North Devon and North Cornwall coastline. Shops 2 miles, pub 1½ mile.
