A cosy semi-detached stone barn conversion set in a rural location in the quiet hamlet of Down Thomas, close to Wembury beach and Bovisand. During the summer, the local sandy beaches are very popular. Surfing, canoeing and horse riding are available; bike hire 100 yards. Wembury beach is world renowned for its marine life, with rock pools at low tide. The South West Coast Path runs around the entire headland. From the clifftops, a lovely coastal walk with stunning views leads to a small passenger ferry, which offers trips across the estuary in summer to the twin villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo, nestling on the River Yealm. Post Office and payphone 100 yards. Shop and pub/restaurant 100 yards.
