Excellent shops, inns, restaurants and hotels nearby. Blakeney is without doubt one of North Norfolk’s premier seaside villages with pebble-covered cottages sloping up from a narrow harbour and has good facilities for dinghy launching, sailing, water-skiing and bird-watching. Regular boat trips take visitors to the famous Blakeney Point seal colony and National Trust nature reserve. Easily accessible are the market towns of Holt and Sheringham. Exterior steps (not steep) lead to the flat. Shops nearby.
