Meaburn Hill Farmhouse (ref 25630) and the adjoining Top Byre (ref 25631) are very different holiday homes but equally interesting. An old world charm has been carefully recreated to provide a comfortable home from home with a relaxing ambience. They share a pretty façade and a superb, open position overlooking the picturesque village of Maulds Meaburn, its village green and meandering beck, which attracts a wealth of wildlife. This is a perfect retreat for relaxing, unwinding and enjoying a village atmosphere. There is a network of local walks from the doorstep ranging from a gentle riverside stroll to a hike across the fells. Alternatively catch up with your reading in the enclosed garden or paddle in the local beck catching tiddlers! With easy access to, and centrally positioned between the Lakes and Dales National Parks, the location is ideal for exploring these two contrasting and very beautiful areas. There is an extensive calendar of village shows and farmer’s markets in the surrounding Eden Valley villages. The historic market town of Appleby, 5 miles, has a good selection of shops and restaurants. The Lake District, 25 minutes, and Dales National Park, 45 minutes’ drive. Home grown vegetables available to purchase from owner. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
