Keswick offers everything for lovers of the great outdoors: fabulous fell walks and climbs of Skiddaw, the majestic steep sided valley of Borrowdale, to the serenity of Derwentwater.

Carlisle is within easy reach, and among the many historical attractions on offer are the castle, cathedral, Guildhall Museum and Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery.
