Old Bakehouse

This 17th century cottage, originally the village bake-house, adjoins the owners home 1/2 mile from the village and within a stone’s throw of the famous Abbotsbury Swannery. Overlooked by the hill top chapel of St Catherine, the holiday cottage has been comfortably furnished to provide a pleasant base to explore the area. The ancient Tithe Barn, sub tropical gardens, coastal and countryside walks are all close by. Weymouth, Dorchester and Bridport are easily accessible. Shops and tavern 1/2 mile.

10 steps up to entrance. All on ground floor: Step down to living/dining room/kitchen with Velux. 2 steps up to bedroom area with double bed and dividing wall. Step down to shower room with toilet. Most rooms with beams.

Elec convector heater and bed linen inc. Other elec by £1 coin meter. Digital TV/DVD. Elec cooker. M/wave. Use of owners’ w/machine and freezer. Private patio area and furniture.
