This sensitively renovated self-contained holiday cottage is one of a pair and was formerly the owners’ ceramics and design studios. Stragglethorpe is a small hamlet, 7 miles from Newark and 9 miles from Grantham. Lincoln, 15 miles, is well worth visiting, with its magnificent cathedral, filmed in the Da Vinci Code, Roman castle and The Collection, a truly modern, award winning museum. Newark, with its antique fairs and air museum is easy to reach. Also close by is Southwell with its minster and excellent Victorian workhouse museum. Shops 3 miles, pub 1 mile.
