This large detached former farmhouse is situated next to the owner’s home on the edge of the pretty village of Wellow, famous for its May Pole. Retaining many original features including beams and wooden sash shutters, Park Farm provides the ideal family holiday base to visit all this popular area has to offer. Set off the main road down a track, close to Rufford Country Park, 2 miles from Centre Parcs and 4 miles from Robin Hood’s Major Oak and visitors centre. Sherwood Forest and Clumber Park are close by whilst the village of Edwinstowe is just 4 miles where Robin Hood married Maid Marian. Just 2 miles is the town of Ollerton whilst the vibrant city of Nottingham is just 15 miles and the historic town of Newark. There are excellent walks from the door. Golf is available at Rufford Park Golf Course, 2 miles. Whilst on site, stabling, clay pigeon shooting, quad biking and Land rovers are available by arrangement with the owner. Day fishing passes for the fishing pond just 50 yards can also be available. Shop 11/2 miles, pub 100 metres.
Properties 19012 and 19634 stand 20 yards apart, and can be booked individually or together to accommodate up to 23 guests. Ideal for large parties, groups of friends, stag and hen parties and celebrations.
