All local amenities, including shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, equestrian centre, and boat trips from the bay, are close at hand, 100 yards, and the lake is within a 15 minute walk. Take the ferry across the lake to Sawrey and visit Hill Top (NT), Hawkshead and Coniston. Bowness makes an ideal starting point for touring.
