This warm, welcoming cottage is tucked away within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and provides a quiet haven overlooking the River Arkle. Adjoining a barn and peacefully positioned amongst the moor and pastures of the Upper Dale, this is a perfect setting for a restful holiday with walking direct from the door. Lovingly restored, the cottage retains much of its original character with exposed beams, inglenook fireplace and tasteful furnishings. The highest pub in Britain can be found at the very top of the Dale, and Reeth is just 5 miles, offering a selection of tearooms, pubs and shops. The historic town of Richmond (with its castle and Georgian theatre) and Bowes Museum are both an easy drive through pleasant countryside. Shops 5 miles.
