This riverside mill development now consists of very good quality private apartments, one of which is featured here. It is located on the first and second floor of the mill and has been refurbished to a very good standard, still retaining the old mill beams, with the added attraction of a sauna, which is perfect for relaxing after a days walking. Riverside Walk is also spacious and commands lovely views. The pretty village of Airton lies in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is 2 miles from the popular limestone village of Malham, where you can walk to its famous cove, or to the waterfalls at Gordale Scar. Gargrave and Settle are close by. The busy market town of Skipton, 8 miles, has excellent shops, restaurants, regular open-air markets, Norman castle and leisure centre. Slightly further is Embsay where you can ride the steam train to picturesque Bolton Abbey and spend a day by the river or exploring the abbey ruins. An ideal holiday base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Farm shop 200 yards, pub 2 miles.
