This holiday cottage adjoining the owner’s home enjoys an ideal village location situated on the Hampshire/Berkshire border between Basingstoke and Newbury. Kingsclere is a pretty village surrounded by beautiful hilly countryside. The village played an important role in the production of wool during the medieval times, and part of this legacy remains today. The stunning countryside and Watership Down attracts lovers of the great outdoors, with ancient Hill Forts on Beacon Hill and Ladle Hill. The Millennium Trail runs through the village and just a short drive takes you to the New Forest and to the coastal resorts of Dorset and Hampshire. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.
