Adjoining a farmhouse, the delightfully furnished cosy cottage oozes charm and character and is surrounded by splendid fells, footpaths and country lanes with plenty of country pubs close by. Lake Windermere is 4 miles with ferry trips at Bowness, as well as the car ferry that goes across the lake to Hawkshead, Coniston and the Grizedale Forest. A scenic drive leads to the northern lakes, passing Ambleside and Grasmere. Golf, fishing nearby. Shop 2 miles, pub 1½ miles.
Step up to entrance through stable door into beamed farmhouse kitchen/dining room with flagstone floor. Two steps down to cosy beamed living room with gas ‘wood burner’ and French doors to decked area.
