This spacious detached 18th-century Grade II listed country house is situated in Ribblesdale in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park. Retaining its original charm and character with period fireplaces, exposed wooden beams and views over open countryside. Set back, just off the B6479 Settle to Ribble Head road, perfectly placed for walking at low level along the banks of the River Ribble whilst the imposing mountains of Pen-Y-Ghent and Ingleborough are easily accessible for the more dedicated hill walker. The local villages of Horton and Stainforth, both 1 mile, offer a variety of pubs and there are extensive leisure facilities in the area such as fishing, pony trekking and climbing. The bustling market town of Settle with its occasional steam trains is just 4 miles and enjoys traditional country shops and restaurants. The Dales, Trough of Bowland and the Lake District are all easily accessible by car. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
