The local villages of Horton and Stainforth, both 1 mile, offer a variety of pubs and there are extensive leisure facilities in the area such as fishing, pony trekking and climbing. The bustling market town of Settle with its occasional steam trains is just 4 miles and enjoys traditional country shops and restaurants. The Dales, Trough of Bowland and the Lake District are all easily accessible by car. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
