Ideally situated in the heart of Gunnerside just a short stroll from the village pub, this traditional semi-detached cottage has an open fire for those cosy evenings in. Close to Gunnerside Gill, which flows through the middle of the village, and which you can follow up to the ruined lead mines and onto the fells.
The friendly owner lives next door, from where she runs the village tea-room/restaurant, providing home cooked meals during the day and in the evenings by arrangements.
A lovely scenic drive through Upper Swaledale takes you over the stunning Buttertubs Pass to the bustling market town of Hawes and on through Wensleydale to Aysgarth and Leyburn, then back through the pretty villages of Lower Swaledale.
