Swallowholm is a very homely, Grade II listed, stone built miner’s cottage set in a small hamlet in Arkengarthdale, surrounded by magnificent views. Ideally placed for walking, horse riding, fishing or just relaxing. A short stroll away is an 18th-century inn serving cask ales and excellent local food. Nearby Reeth (4 miles) has a selection of pubs, shops and quaint tea rooms, whilst Richmond market town with Georgian theatre, castle, museum and golf course is a short drive away, or make a breathtaking journey over the Stang to Barnard Castle.
