This delightful Grade II listed Cumbrian bank barn dates from 1770, and has been tastefully converted and refurbished, but retains many features including exposed beams and stonework. It enjoys an attractive garden with a lovely outlook. Askham is a charming and pretty village centred around two village greens, and offers easy access to Lakes Ullswater and Haweswater, Askham and Helton Fells, and the beautiful Eden Valley. It is truly an ideal location from which to explore the numerous sights and attractions the area has to offer. The village boasts two pubs with restaurants and bar meals, shop and outdoor heated swimming pool. Shop 100 yards, pub 120 yards.
