Cockermouth is close to the north west border of the Lake District National Park, making an ideal base for exploring the spectacular lakeland scenery. Keswick, 12 miles, Buttermere, 10 miles, and Whinlatter Forest and Bassenthwaite Lake, 3 miles, all an easy, scenic drive. Complimentary wine on arrival (Apr-Oct).
