The cosy sitting room and kitchen both open onto the enclosed garden, from which there is a lovely view across the valley. The immediate area offers numerous lovely walks, while a little further afield are the noted attractions of the Painswick Rococo Gardens, Woodchester Mansion, Owlpen Manor, and the ancient market town of Cirencester.

The village inn offers good food and ales, and is only a short walk away.
