This very quaint fisherman’s cottage makes the ideal base for a family or walking holiday. Set in the heart of peaceful Budleigh Salterton, it is one of a pair and lies a minute’s walk from the seafront, close to local shops, tearooms, restaurants and pubs. Tastefully decorated and furnished to reflect its original features, it also has a suntrap patio area for lazy evenings. This part of Devon enjoys a mild climate, perfect for exploring the beautiful coastline with its miles of towering cliffs. There is excellent walking on the South West Coastal Path taking in Sidmouth, Branscombe and Beer. Exeter (with an array of shops and stunning cathedral) is a short drive. Exmouth is also popular - the River Exe being a favourite haunt of bird-watchers and a base for river cruises and fishing trips. Several golf clubs and NT properties in the area. East Budleigh (the birthplace of Sir Walter Raleigh) is not to be missed, with lovely public houses to explore. Shops 20 yards.
