Within the garden of a 17th century thatched cottage in the pretty village of Barley, this single storey conversion has been thoughtfully refurbished, offering a comfortable base for exploring, and garden with bespoke seating in the shade and sunshine. The cultural city of Cambridge is 12 miles, famous for its art galleries, botanical gardens and excellent shops and eating houses. The characterful town of Saffron Walden is close by offering individual shops and a mix of restaurants and pubs. Audley End House, 8 miles, where craft fairs and concerts take place. Duxford Air Museum, 10 minute drive. Newmarket for the races is a 30 minute drive and the city of Ely 40 minutes drive. Two pubs in village, shop 500 yards.
