Set above the owners’ property, it is ideal for visiting Blakeney, with its fishermen’s cottages huddled along narrow streets, and Blakeney Point (NT), a nature reserve for birds and seals. Cley-next-the-sea, (Georgian) Holt and Sheringham are close. Notable to visit are the NT properties Blickling and Felbrigg Halls and Sheringham Park; also Holkham’s vast sandy beach with its pine forest. The area has many good pubs and restaurants. Shop, café and pub 300 yards.
