Set in Thorncombe, Dorset, near the Devon and Somerset borders, 8 miles from Lyme Bay’s World Heritage Jurassic Coast, this self-contained wing of the owners’ home enjoys a tranquil village setting and is an excellent base for exploring the area. Extensive public footpath network in the Parish. Major long distance paths cross the Parish, Monarch’s Way and the Jubilee Trail. Within a few miles are Forde Abbey and Gardens, Fleet Air Museum, Barrington Court and Montacute House (both NT), Broadwindsor Craft Centre and within easy driving there is coastal walking, sailing and fishing at Lyme Regis. Shops 100 yards, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
