This unusual, Grade II listed, attractive, 17th-century holiday cottage was formerly the lock-up for the village of Coleford, a picturesque place full of old miners’ cottages. Situated at the end of a row, the turret gives the interior curved walls and alcoves, and adds to its wealth of character and original features. The village is situated on the eastern edge of the Mendip Hills, close to Frome, Bath, Wells, Glastonbury and the attractions of Longleat, Stourhead Gardens, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole.
