In a tranquil setting with wonderful views over a large lawned garden, this semi-detached barn conversion with its original wooden beams provides an ideal holiday base from which to explore the Lake District.

Walking is from the door and if you fancy a bit of pampering or different exercise, there is a country house hotel with leisure club and swimming pool a mere 200 metres away which also has a restaurant.

The delightful shops, tea rooms and ferry services at Bowness are within a few minutes drive and nearby Kendal on the River Kent has varied culture to offer as well as the usual facilities of a larger town.
