Ideal touring base
This charming converted single storey stable lies in the garden of the owners home, originally the residence of the village blacksmith. Walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep, and there is a well stocked shop and good pub in the village. Seven miles from the historic Saxon city of Salisbury, with its cathedral boasting the tallest spire in the UK, half timbered houses, cobbled streets and lively market square.
Further afield are the ancient stones at Stonehenge and Avebury, the lesser known Woodhenge, and the many iron age forts and settlements in the Salisbury Plain.
Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
