There are wonderful views over the river in addition to Kilnsey Crag known locally as the ’Umbrella Crag’, popular with climbers. There is superb walking with horse riding and trekking adjacent. Kilnsey Trout Farm complete with fishing 1/2 mile. An excellent base from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales including the pretty villages of Kettlewell and Grassington. Conistone was one of the locations used for the filming of ’Calendar Girls’. Shops 3 miles, pub 1/2 mile.
