Magnificent views over the surrounding countryside can be savoured from its own large garden, and there are many pleasant rural walks to enjoy within the verdant Blackmore Vale. Comfortably and tastefully furnished to a high standard (with a wealth of antique pieces), it lies just a mile from King Stag’s village inn and shop. Sturminster Newton, with its rare working watermill is 4 miles distant, whilst Sherborne (7 miles) boasts two castles, an abbey and an array of unusual shops and restaurants. Golf and riding locally. Excellent beaches within 20 miles. Shop 1 mile.
